West Chester, Pa (August 18, 2026) – State Senator Carolyn Comitta is holding a Senior Expo this fall, featuring free activities, health screenings, resources, raffles, and information on local and state services.
The 2nd Annual Senior Expo is set for Tuesday, October 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sturzebecker Health Science Building on West Chester University’s South Campus.
“Last year, hundreds of older adults attended our Senior Expo to learn about the services, resources, and support available to help them stay happy, healthy, and independent,” said Comitta, who serves on the Senate Aging and Youth Committee. “We expect even more to join us this year. The Senior Expo is an opportunity to come together, to have some fun, and to ensure that Pennsylvania seniors are empowered, appreciated, and included in our communities.”
Chester County is currently home to approximately 100,000 senior citizens. Following national and statewide trends, that number is expected to grow to 145,000 over the next two decades.
The free Senior Expo will feature dozens of vendors from organizations serving older adults, as well as informational exhibits, interactive presentations, and light refreshments.
